I have practiced yoga on and off for past 15 years. While the frequency of my practice varied over that time, I always loved how I felt on my mat, both mentally and physically. Looking back, it was probably when I needed yoga and self-care the most is when I didn’t prioritize the time for it amongst the demands of life. After attending a surf and yoga retreat in November of 2017, I spent several months reflecting on becoming more present in everything that I do and being more intentional about my life and the priorities for the various phases. This led me to the summer of 2018 and the decision to take a pause from my professional career to spend more time with my family and pursue my yoga instructor certification and health coach certification. I earned my Yoga Alliance RYT 200 certification through Green Lotus in Annandale over the course of the summer. It was an amazing experience and period of personal growth. I am excited to continue to grow as a teacher and share the experience of yoga with others.

Gentle Flow Yoga
This 60 minute flowing yoga class combines physical activity with breath to reduce stress, control weight, and enhance focus. This class is great for beginners and experienced yogis as well. Will help to introduce basic postures while challenging your focus and physical strength. Ideal for gentle strengthening, increasing relaxation, focus, and flexibility. Various options will be offered to appeal to a variety of ability levels.
