RYT 200 Yoga Instructor

I have been married for 20 years to my best friend and I am the mother of 2 beautiful teenagers. My background includes a degree in psychology with a focus in chemical dependency. I have been teaching yoga for about 10 years and I am a 200RYT with the Yoga Alliance. If you ask me about my yoga journey, I will always tell you that it found me! I was homeschooling my then, 2 young children and feeling like I really needed something for myself. I had an extensive background in dance, so when I stumbled into my first yoga class, I was completely taken with the experience of feeling my limbs again and discovering my breath in a whole new way. Natural progression, someone who saw a yoga teacher in the making and my willingness to jump into the unknown all led me to where I am today. My work extends from teaching classes to all levels to well into the senior community, to 1:1 work with cancer survivors, stroke survivors, bereavement, etc... Compassion, encouragement, patience and acceptance are just some of the key ingredients to my teaching style. We begin where we are at. Just breathe and know that your beautiful yoga story will unfold from there.

  • Mixed Level Hatha Yoga
  • This 75 minute yoga class offers both basic and intermediate options and longer holds in order to explore depth in postures. Arm balances and inversions may be explored with guidance. Appropriate for fit beginners and ongoing students.
